Living

The most considered outdoor spaces aren't bolt-ons. They begin when outdoor kitchen expertise and garden design work from the same brief, at the same time. This is what makes Decimus different.

The Service Bridge

Two disciplines.
One conversation.

Most outdoor spaces fail because the kitchen designer and the garden designer have never spoken to each other. We don't let that happen.

When Siobhan and Corinne work on an Outdoor Living project together, they take a joint approach in understanding what the client wants from their outdoor living and how that can be achieved. One brief about how the client lives (or wants to live) outside, how they want to use the space for cooking, eating and living. The outdoor kitchen and the garden are designed as a single composition so that the spaces work together seamlessly.

The result is an outdoor space with form and function. A beautiful space that serves a number of purposes.

What clients say

In their words.

Garden

We had just purchased a Georgian double-fronted listed building that had stood empty for over 18 months. The property featured a large, established terraced front garden, which had become extremely overgrown during that time. The renovation itself was long and costly, leaving us with a very limited budget for landscaping by the end of the project.

Once the substantial overgrowth was cleared, we discovered that much of the garden consisted of disappointing concrete slabs. However, Corinne immediately saw the potential. She created a thoughtful design that introduced generous new planting areas, blending modern planting schemes beautifully with the existing mature garden. The result is a space that feels balanced, vibrant, and full of interest throughout the seasons, with carefully positioned areas for seating and enjoying the sunsets.

The rear garden, rich in historical character, was treated with great sensitivity. Its integrity was preserved and enhanced through a subtle, ethereal lighting design that highlights its key features. Corinne also created functional spaces for cooking, dining, and relaxing, transforming the garden into the most treasured part of our home.

We are absolutely delighted with the results and couldn't recommend her more highly.

Garden

We couldn't be happier with the work our garden designer Corinne delivered. From the very first consultation, she truly understood our vision and brought creative ideas that elevated the entire space beyond what we had imagined.

The attention to detail, thoughtful layout, and seamless blend of functionality with aesthetics have completely transformed our garden into a beautiful and practical outdoor living area. Every element feels carefully considered, and the final result is both stunning and thankfully easy to maintain.

Throughout the process, communication was excellent and everything was handled with professionalism and care. It was clear we were working with someone passionate, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. We would absolutely recommend Corinne's services to anyone looking to create a standout outdoor space.
